A driver record contains your driving history. The record shows current and resolved suspensions, citations, violations and other entries impacting your record.
Please Note: Unsatisfied judgments and delinquent child support orders from a court must be settled with the court as the BMV cannot address these court actions.

Two types of driving records are available from the BMV:
Viewable Driver Record (VDR)
A VDR can be viewed FREE OF CHARGE.
Official Driver Record (ODR)
An ODR is a certified copy of your driver record that is accompanied by a letter of certification from the BMV. Some employers and school admission offices require a certified driver record. The ODR may be purchased for $4.

If you obtain an Official Driving Record before 01/01/2021, download the Driver Record Legend used for ODRs issued on or prior to 01/01/2022.
If you do not know your driver’s license number, you will be required to request a copy of your Official Driver Record by mail. To order your ODR, print the Request for Certified Records – State Form 53789 and mail this form along with your payment to:
